JD Property, the infrastructure investment arm of Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com, has entered into an agreement with UAE-based Gargash Prime to develop around 250,000 square meters of logistics infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates, according to KrASIA.
JD Property CEO Carl Chen highlighted that this partnership aims to expand the company’s footprint in the Middle East and enhance its international logistics capabilities, positioning the new facility as a key regional distribution and fulfillment hub.
For Japanese investors and companies, this development underscores growing cross-border logistics investments in the Middle East, a region increasingly important for global supply chains and e-commerce expansion.
